D.I.Team is crew of technically based professionals providing bespoke services together with high-end equipment.

In the early 2000s, D.I.Team founder Zbyněk Honzík was a licensed Czech dealer of FUJIFILM raw stock, applying a DOP-focused business model that prioritized a film stock's properties - color, exposure, laboratory processing - in the design of the image-creation workflow for film, TV and commercials. Being also an accomplished photographer and early-adopter of digital technology, Zbyněk was well-positioned to anticipate the impacts of the digital revolution on audiovisual production. He developed his experiences and skills into a comprehensive expertise in digital image management, that embraced the rapid evolution of the image-creation workflow.

In Mikuláš Křepelka, Zbyněk found a kindred spirit - someone who had come up professionally through the camera department in the traditional way, who had also recognized the changes taking place and had shifted his own career towards digital image management, bringing in-depth, hands-on knowledge of cinematography with him.

They both recognized that modern digital image management requires at least the same level of care and responsibility in the image-creation workflow as with the safeguarding of exposed film stock, with the shepherding of the images through the lab, with the prompt delivery of color-graded film dailies.

Together they founded D.I.Team to bring that same responsibility and human touch to the digital image-creation needs of modern productions, delivered by a professional team of attentive, experienced, multilingual technicians, using secure and up-to-date equipment and systems.

When he started out in film production in the 1990s, Zbyněk would drive the cans of exposed film from the set to the lab at the end of the shooting day. He appreciated that those film cans contained the entirety of the day's shooting.

Every actor's performance, all the creative work of every department.

All the emotion captured by the camera, every dollar of the day’s budget.

Now, of course, all of that magic is contained in the data on the day’s hard drives, but for D.I.Team, their sense of responsibility for the journey of those images, from camera to screen, remains essentially the same.
